    Collins:

Wait till the newsletter comes out next year! Then you’ll start seeing some serious chess love.

  • Collins

Great graphical league report, makes everyone want to win their next game!
Thanks Babs, we’re all chipping in.

Lets keep the good spirit of promoting chess thru media, with some contructive chess articals.

    Good work Collins

    • Paras Gudka

Thank you for the encouragement, Isaac. I shall let Collins know of your kind words for him. This website, though, is an initiative by yours truly, Paras Gudka.

Also, I feel it is extremely disappointing that the official body governing chess in Kenya does nothing to promote the sport, while die-hard chess enthusiasts like me work tirelessly to popularise the game. We don’t even have an official website where chess players can get information from, whereas look at what South Africa is doing: http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=6774!

  • MAESTRO

hey, i havent seen the K.U. vs Stima fixture, could someone please look into this?

    • Paras Gudka

Maestro, the right person to contact is Philip Singe, as I get my information from him. Was Kenyatta University supposed to play a match against Stima this past weekend (Nov 20, 21) or were you referring to the coming weekend (Nov 27, 28)?

great ! tomorrow there will be an easy match for Stima Chess Club against the Central Bank. all chess fans and ‘enthusiastic photographers’ are invited to come and watch this match at the KCB sports club, Ruaraka,.
