The Goan Gymkhana, Nairobi, was bustling with chess action on Saturday, 26th March 2011, as rounds 1 and 2 of the 2011 NCL (Nairobi Chess League) were played out in the afternoon.

    mighty pawns were losing to knight runners their board 1 lost on time and board three wasted a won position it was just luck

    Mighty pawns look like an interesting line up. They have 4/4 match pts. Not bad. Let’s see what happens when the big guns Sicilian Simbas and Lion King play their first games this weekend.

      They haven’t played any tough teams yet. That ratio will change when they do.

      The strongest teams this time around are: Nairobi Gambit, Sicilian Simbas and Lion Kings.
