Kenya finally registered its first win at the All Africa Games chess events on 8th September when the ‘open’ team beat weaker opponents Namibia in Round 3. The ‘ladies’ team continued its dismal performance by going down 0-4 to South Africa with 4 of the 5 players yet to get any point. The results are as follows:
