The highlights of the day and tournament though, were Austin Okeyo’s upset wins over Kenyan ‘top dog’ Wang’ombe Mugo and tournament favourite Peter Gilruth in consecutive rounds. He ended the competition in joint 2nd place with Wango’mbe.
