Chairman of Nairobi Chess Club, Kim Bhari, announced earlier today that due to the closure of their home base of Goan Gymkhana (where the club meets on Saturday afternoons) for two weekends, no matches will be played on 14th May 2011 at the ongoing 2011 NCL (Nairobi Chess League).
Efforts are being made to find an alternative venue so that matches can be played on 21st May when the sports club remains closed. Regular chess activity and the 2011 NCL by Nairobi Chess Club will resume on 28th May when Goan Gymkhana reopens.
