Uganda’s Elijah Emojong lost at the hands of India’s Ravi Kumar rated 2185 in the eighth round of the ongoing Piloo Modi International Open Chess Tournament in India.
The loss leaves the Ugandan at 6 points out of a possible 8 and pushed him to 34th position in the standings out of 150 participants.
He was up against India’s Chaniramu Pegu in the ninth round.
